こんにちは、Rocky Shoreを運営している磯野麻夕子です。
Rocky Shoreは恵比寿にあるリノベーションされたアパートの一室を
利用した、現代アートの作品とデザインを中心に扱うギャラリーです。
ギャラリーのほか、アートマネジメントおよびコーディネート、作品の
プライベートセールスを行なっています。
ステートメント
Rocky Shoreという英単語は釣りができるような海岸のごつごつした岩場（磯）をあらわしていて、スペースじたいもまるで釣り小屋のようなガレージ風の建物。
どんな荒波にも耐えられるように、という願いを込めています。 Wikipedia英語版Rocky Shoreページ（2017年6月時点）にある以下の言葉をステートメントとして目指しています。
「Rocky Shoreは生物学的に豊かな環境で、海岸の生態系のエコシステムの実験の場として有益である。アクセスのしやすさからRocky Shoreは長きにわたり観察され、そこに住む生物は広く知られている。」

This is Mayuko Isono who is running Rocky Shore.
Rocky Shore is a Gallery and Art Dealing, and Art Management office inside the beautifully renovated garage-like apartment in central Tokyo called Ebisu area that focuses on contemporary art and design.
The word 'Rocky Shore' represents the seashore where you can enjoy fishing. The building of Rocky Shore itself looks like a garage or a cabin where anglers rest. As rocky shores endure rough water, we named our space to wish longevity.

"A rocky shore is an intertidal area of seacoasts where solid rock predominates.
Rocky shores are biologically rich environments and are a useful "natural laboratory" for studying intertidal ecology and other biological processes. Due to their high accessibility, they have been well studied for a long time and their species are well known."
My Story
2017年よりリーンスタートアップとして恵比寿にあるリノベーションされたかわいらしいアパートでRocky Shoreをスタート。日本のほかベトナム、フランス、スイス、オーストリア、米国、中国など各国の作家と直取引で展覧会を実施しています。
2014年に１年間、ベトナム・ホーチミン市でアートおよびカルチャー関係の起業プロジェクトに従事。私どもRocky Shoreでご一緒しているアーティストはその頃知り合った友人やそのつながりの方々です。
Since 2017 I started Rocky Shore as a lean startup: inside a tiny apartment. My gallery space is small but we are working with artists from all over the world especially from Vietnam, France, Switzerland, Australia, the US, China and of course Japan.
In 2014, I was in Ho Chi Minh City for an entrepreneurial project. Rocky Shore is working closely with friends from my Vietnam era and beyond.
